Gift Card Promotion Disclaimer: Any promotions that are being offered are available through Ratehub.ca only and are not affiliated with the institution providing the credit card.

Promotions will only be rewarded upon approval of the credit card application. By submitting your contact information for a Ratehub.ca promotion, you authorize Ratehub.ca to receive account information from Scotiabank regarding credit card approval status, and the time and date of credit card approval or decline. You agree Scotiabank is harmless for any information disclosed to Ratehub.ca. Applicants consent to Ratehub.ca using their name, email address, phone number and mailing address to verify approved credit card applications. Ratehub.ca will not have access to any personal details, beyond those details required to fulfill the Promotion, provided for in the credit card application. Please review Ratehub.ca’s Privacy Policy which also applies.The Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank), the issuer of the credit card for which you are applying, is not responsible or liable for any aspect of these gift cards or Promotions. Completed credit card application approvals can take up to sixty (60) business days to be processed by the Issuer. Approved credit card applicants will be notified by the Issuer. Notification that you have successfully qualified for the Promotion will come from Ratehub.ca by email. Scotiabank is not liable to you if you are declined for a credit card. You should receive your gift card by email automatically within 10 to 15 business days of being notified of your account approval. If you do not receive your gift card within 10 to 15 business days, please contact Ratehub.ca directly at [e-mail]. If you do not contact Ratehub.ca within three months of receiving your credit card, your eligibility for the gift card will expire. Any issues with gift card fulfillment must be brought to the attention of Ratehub.ca within three (3) months of the approval date.

Terms and Conditions for bonus points: To be eligible for the 25,000 bonus points, you must make at least $1000 in net purchases (purchases less returns or similar credits) posted to your Scotiabank Card account (“Account”) in the first 3 months from the Account open date. The bonus points will appear as an adjustment on your Account statement within 2 statement cycles after the third billing cycle has passed provided the Account is open and in good standing. Offer applies to new Scotiabank Card account only opened by February 28, 2018. Offer may be changed or extended and cannot be combined with any other offer.
 The Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank), will waive the initial annual fee for the primary card and each additional supplementary card for the first year. Offer applies to new Accounts only that are opened by February 28, 2018. Any additional supplementary cards must be issued by February 28, 2018 to qualify for the offer. Offer may be changed or extended and cannot be combined with any other offer.
